I know that wedges are out and its all about the tapered heels but since most labels are starting their sales this week I started to weaken for these Opening Ceremony Ankle Platform Wedge boots. They look super comfy and pretty tough. I especially like the ribbed stretch top and the buckle detail, it adds a little softness to this block, I mean shoes. Should I? I could use an extra 3.5". I'm in the market for a good pair of black laceup ankle boots. Any suggestions?

They were on 20% sale and I missed the window!!! Urg...I'm watching everyday to see if they have something else in store for the holidays.
